To ring in the new year, we are starting a blog dedicated to North American wildlife and the rehabilitation of North America’s native wildlife. Here you will find information, ideas, solutions, photos, stories that will warm your heart and maybe some that will break your heart. Please feel free to post your comments. We’d love to hear from you! This blog is for animal lovers, nature lovers, Second Chances’ supporters, educators, students, other rehabilitators, folks interested in becoming rehabbers, veterinarians, future vets, naturalists, blog lovers, anyone! WELCOME and Happy 2013!
Just found your blog today, very good! I like learning something new about all of the creatures.
I found your website through “Bat World.” I live in Louisville and sometimes need a wildlife rehabilitator. Thankfully not in a long time. I wish I had done what you are doing when I was younger. I’m 66 now, and not in very good health. I could drive something to you if you ever need it, though. I’m home most of the time and stay up pretty late also. My no. is 502-896-4032 if you ever need any help.
I’m so enjoying learning the things about bats that “Bat World” and our “Bat Rehab” center have taught me. I’ve always loved bats, but now, I wish I could have about a “dozen” of them.
Your website is also very enjoyable. I especially loved the story about Sport and Lizzie and the squirrels. I live on a very low income, but if I ever can make a donation I will. I imagine you use a lot of towels, and I always have extra towels.
Thanks for all you do.
